The winery was built in 2003. Our winery development is the result of a coordinated effort with two local vintners who have been recognized for their award winning wines. Bruce L. Smith: Bruce has been making wines for over 12 years and has gathered many top awards from California and other National competitions. Experimenting with different winemaking techniques and types of oak barrels, Smith has crafted wines from the local grapes grown in our vineyard that will rival those created in the California wine country. These have been specifically developed to match the restaurant's cuisine. Smith entered these wines in the Illinois and Indiana wine competition in 2003 and received Gold and Silver awards from the competitions. Chef Andrews say that "Most importantly, they are wines that you can drink at the restaurant or at home that compliment the food you are eating".
